I earned my BA in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from Cal Poly, Pomona in Psychology focusing on Couples and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Antioch University, Seattle. I am a licensed marriage and family therapy and have training and experience working with children, adolescents and adults both individually and in couples and family sessions.
My therapeutic orientation is an eclectic blend or Family Systems, Humanistic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. My training includes, but is not limited to, couples and family dynamics, parenting, trauma, domestic violence issues, child and adolescent issues, self-harming behaviors, involvement in the Child Welfare System, multiculturalism, and Native American Populations. In sessions, I provide Art Therapy, as well as traditional Talk Therapy.
I was born and raised in California and I am the youngest of three children. I moved to Seattle in 2008 to attend Antioch University, where I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology, focusing on Couples and Family Therapy and Art Therapy. Although it was a rough transition at first, I eventually fell in love with Seattle and it is now my home. I am engaged to my amazing partner, Christopher, and I have two beautiful step sons. In my free time I play volleyball, paint, read, and make friends with every animal I meet.
